ULO Optics - an experienced manufacturer of IR optics

ULO Optics was founded as V&S Scientific by David Greening in 1982. In 2000 it was sold to Umicore and operated as Umicore Laser Optics.  ULO Optics in its current structure is the result of a management buyout in 2006. Since its inception our manufacturing facility has remained in Hertfordshire, north of London, UK, where a core team of experienced engineers and technicians design, manufacture, and test ULO Optics' products.

A track record of success

ULO Optics has three decades of experience in designing and fabricating beam delivery solutions. Our engineers have designed optics that today are used as standards in the industry and have supported OEM customers in designing custom optics for CO₂ and thermal imaging applications. CO₂ scanning lenses developed by ULO Optics are still the widely used standard throughout the industry.
